Online competition terms

These terms apply to anyone who takes part in or organises an online competition on Cross Maniacs (https://app.crossmaniacsapp.com). By registering for a competition or submitting a video you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.

Videos and YouTube

• Cross Maniacs uses YouTube API Services to publish competition videos. By using Cross Maniacs to submit videos you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
• Videos are published as unlisted on the official CrossManiacs channel so that the judges and participants can review them. Google processes them in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
• You may only submit videos of yourself (or your team) doing the competition WOD, with no content that infringes third-party rights or YouTube’s Community Guidelines.
• In competitions with verified recording, the video must be recorded inside the app in a single take. A video that has been modified, replaced or recorded outside the allowed time window is not accepted.

Judging and results

• The organiser and their judges review the videos and may validate, penalise or disqualify a submission according to the WOD rules.
• Other participants can alert the judges if they spot a mistake; the final decision always rests with the judges.

Video removal

You can ask us to remove your videos by writing to [email protected]. Removing a video from an ongoing competition cancels the corresponding submission.
